For the fourth consecutive year, Cameco (TSX: CCO; NYSE: CCJ) has been selected by the Globe and Mail as one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers.
The annual competition recognizes employers across Canada that have exceptional workplace diversity and inclusiveness programs. Selection to the list was based on information submitted for the 2013 Canada's Top 100 Employers competition.
Today's recognition follows Cameco's recent listings as one of the 10 Best Companies To Work For, Canada's Top 100 Employers and Saskatchewan's Top Employers.
“We are proud of our designation as Canada's leading industrial employer of aboriginal people and this award recognizes the things we do to include and support a diverse workforce,” said Kaylynn Schroeder, Cameco's vice-president of human resources. “We achieve success at our sites when we involve, train and engage local people.”
