2015 - Cameco Cares Concert
The Cameco Cares Concert Series raised more than $220,000 for Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.
With a sellout crowd for the second straight year, the Cameco Cares Concert Series raised more than $220,000 for Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.
The July 21 show, featuring Huey Lewis and the News at the Delta Bessborough Gardens, was the second in a four-year series of community concerts with 100% of ticket proceeds supporting Saskatoon hospital foundations. Since debuting in 2014, Cameco Cares has raised $380,000 for local hospital foundations.
This year’s proceeds support Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation’s Equip for Excellence campaign.
“We believe in providing the best for the people who provide care,” says Steve Shannon, CEO of Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation. “Equip for Excellence is a multi-million dollar campaign that will ensure health care professionals have the latest and best equipment, resources and technology to do their jobs. By supporting Equip for Excellence, the Cameco Cares Concert Series has helped us increase quality of life for patients and their families.”
Thank you to our partners: 96.3 CRUZ FM, the Delta Bessborough and SaskTel Centre, as well as our 65 Cameco volunteers.
See you next year.
